Carnivorous plants in macro

One of the things I miss most about my old blog is the literally thousands of followers who populated its pages, day after day. All I had to do was open my inbox and choose. It was so much fun! But there's an upside to being small (very small) and independent--I get to do whatever I want! (Hence the days I don't post, because life just gets. in. the. way. Sorry about that....) It's taken me a while to realize this, and to work my way up to mixing it up. But I'm getting there!

Today I'm sharing an awesome post from one of my absolute favorite blogs, Colossal. It's a feature of Finish photographer Joni Niemelä's gorgeous macro shots of sundew plants. These beautiful but sinister plants are incredible close up! Take a look at the post. If you want to see more of Joni's work, visit his Facebook and Instagram pages.
