Sublime fall light in Eddi's Ohio garden

Let's take a U-turn today and celebrate a garden going to sleep, and the pleasures fall brings. Today's photos are from Eddi Reid in Powell, Ohio, who says, "The autumn evening light from the descending sun sent me out to take pictures. The sounds were beautiful, too, a mixture of birdsong, rustling grasses, and the crackly rustling of the pin oak leaves, which remain on the trees until the new spring growth pushes them off. It was magical to have such an opportunity.
This garden is a designated wildlife area. I hope you enjoy the walk." That light is truly magical, Eddi. Thanks for sharing.

**By the way, I messaged with Wies Voesten in Holland yesterday, and she is overwhelmed and so happy with the response to her garden for the last two days. Somehow she didn't expect so much praise. Crazy, right? Anyway, she's now planning to send in updates periodically throughout next season, beginning with the earliest hellebores and snowdrops. Very exciting!

Show us all your garden! Email pics to me: Michelle@GardenyGoodness.com. Thanks! ~Michelle
